Jenia GraciaThe latest iMac 2016 rumors hinted that Apple may unveil it in a separate event in October.
The new iMac has been one of the products from the American tech giant that consumers from all over the world have been waiting for. The other devices are the iPhone 7 and MacBook Pro 2016.
Will Apple finally release any of them soon?
It can be recalled that almost everyone was expecting that Apple will finally announce their new devices at the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) last June 13. However, none of these highly-anticipated upgrades was ever introduced.
According to MacWorld UK, rumors have suggested that the iMac 2016 might just be released three months from now.
The report noted that Apple holds three press events yearly to announce the availability of new products, to wit: autumn (September) is devoted for new iPhones and new iPads; spring (usually in March) is for new iPhones and iPads still but already with MacBooks and watches at times; and summer (June) is for operating system updates and occasional hardware.
While these are considered to be the company's big events each year, the tech site pointed out that it still holds smaller launch events which may happen to iMac 2016 release date, as what the rumors have hinted.
Back in 2015, the iMac update had a separate announcement date which was made few weeks after the iPhone 6s was revealed.
Meanwhile, there is also a possibility that the upcoming iMac upgrade will be launched together with iPhone 7 this September.
When it comes to the graphics chips that it will come with, the report dished that it may be AMD's Polaris 10 or Polaris 11.
These chipsets are reportedly boast of impressive performance per watt, as they are also expected to bring the world of VR and high resolution gaming to the next level, the WCCF Tech reported.
