My Chemical Romance Returning? Band Teases Comeback in Twitter Video
C. de LacyMy Chemical Romance's return was teased in a post on their official social media pages.
The video showed a short clip showing a white flag with the band's insignia and showing the date of 9/26/16 at the end of the video. Fans were excited as to what this was about since it has been almost a year since their last update.
After the their breakup in 2013, the band's more than a decade run was sealed with their final album, "Danger Days: The Trule Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys." Millions of fans were disappointed with the group disbanding with speculations around musical differences and members heading on their own career paths.
The most recent tweet was the only one the band had posted for more than a year, stirring a lot of hype among fans.

The fans' dreams of the band's return, however, was ultimately crushed. Entertainment Weekly reported and confirmed that this would actually be a reissue of The Black Parade. This will also include the unreleased demos according to Entertainment Weekly's sources.
The Black Parade was easily their most successful album amongs the four officially released ones. Garnering Platinum certification in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, UK and US.
It could be remembered that the band's frontman, Gerard Way, made a post in Twitlonger about the band reaching the end of the road for them.
"There are many reasons My Chemical Romance ended," he wrote.
"The triggerman is unimportant, as was always the messengers- but the message, again as always, is the important thing ... And I can assure you there was no divorce, argument, failure, accident, villain, or knife in the back that caused this, again this was no one's fault, and it had been quietly in the works, whether we knew it or not, long before any sensationalism, scandal, or rumor."
Though disappointing as it may seem, true fans will still be happy with the rerelease of the album as an addition to their MCR collectibles.
