Xbox insider, dubbed as Ekim, claimed that eight Xbox 360 games will join the Xbox One's backwards compatibility list.

Xbox One backwards compatibility has turned into an extremely well-known feature. With its growing list of accessible titles, N4bb reported that eight new games might be added to the program. The games are as follows: "Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episodes 1 & 2," "Bionic Commando Rearmed 2," "Fret Nice," "Crystal Defenders,"  "Pac-Man Museum," "Neogeo Battle Coliseum," and "Capcom Arcade Cabinet."

However, it is important to take note that these are only rumors revealed through an Xbox insider, Ekim, who has an incredible track record. Hence, it remains to be seen whether these eight titles will be made backwards compatible.

Nonetheless, Express reported that Xbox One backward compatibility has apparently been expanded with new games by Microsoft. As of July 21, a total of 227 Xbox 360 games are currently playable on Xbox One, including "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition," "Quantum Break," "Forza Motorsport 6," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," and "Rare Replay."

Much to the delight of many, Microsoft is now offering Xbox One at $249 with a 500 gigabytes hard drive. The console's new price is seemingly half of the $499 original price when it was propelled on Nov. 22, 2013.

"Any 500 GB Xbox One console is $249, including the 'Gears of War: Ultimate Edition' bundle, the Special Edition 'Quantum Break' bundle with white console and the Name your Game bundle, which allows you to choose a full game download of one of four blockbuster titles," Xbox Wire Editor in Chief, Will Tuttle, said in a statement.
