The Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 is all about new improved specs and upgrades, including the Snapdragon chipset and 3300 mAh battery. The phone has outdone itself in terms of design, processor, battery, RAM, and OS.

The Samsung device consists of new metallic finish with a fingerprint sensor for added security measures. It sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1080 pixels. The Galaxy J7 2016 model is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core chipset and a 2GB of RAM.

Moreover, the gadget has been made available to the users in two variants based on the processor specs like Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 and Exynos 7580 Octa. These variants feature 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via the micro SD card option.

As far as the camera specs are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 sports a 13-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel front shooter. Reports claimed that the camera performs exceptionally well in the outdoors as it provides great contrast and color options. The Galaxy phone also provides Face Detection and Geo Tagging functionalities.

In contrast to the earlier version, the new Galaxy J7 phone sports the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, which provides  features like Doze app and Google Now on Tap. Also, the device has great audio owing to Noise -92.4dB feature. It also provides exceptional video quality with 1080 pixel resolutions at 30 frames per second.

Additionally, the Samsung smartphone provides alsao has the simple features like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G LTE connectivity, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and accelerometer.

Gizbot added that the July Android security patch for the Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 phone has the size of 254 MB with a build number of J710FXXU1APG5.
