While Apple has remained mum about the release date and specs of its highly-anticipated MacBook Pro 2016, several rumors have been claiming this and that.

Which among the previously released speculations could be true? Which could be baseless?

As long as the American tech giant is silent about what to expect from their new laptop, consumers will remain in limbo, trying to decipher which among the reports should they believe into, and which should be taken with a grain of salt.

Let us then get into the details of the various MacBook Pro 2016 rumors.

Battery Life

Considering that Apple is reportedly making the new version of MacBook Pro even lighter and thinner, it means that they need to use a smaller battery. With this say, there is a possibility that it can never last for so long.

It can be noted that the present model's 13-inch model has a battery life of 10 hours, while the 15-inch can last upto nine hours.

Gotta Be Mobile explained, though, that if you use power-hungry apps, this battery performance will definitely drop.

Graphics Card

Should Apple decide to release the MacBook Pro 2016 model by fourth quarter of this year, recent rumors have hinted that Nvidia and AMD are both ready (or almost ready) to bring about upgraded graphics technologies, especially for the 15-inch model of the laptop.

Lightning Port

Another rumored feature of the upcoming mobile device from Apple is the possibility of a Lightning port.

As explained by The Next Web, this theory "makes little sense" following reports that the company is dropping the audio jack from iPhone 7 since it is very likely that Apple will continue doing it for the MacBook Pro.

Keep posted for more MacBook Pro 2016 rumors and news updates, particularly those about its official release date and specs.
