A leaked footage has hinted that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" will soon be added in the list of games playable via the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature.

For quite a while now, gamers have been expressing their desire to play the said game title since the BC was made available.

According to Express UK, the rumor about the availability of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" in the Xbox One backwards compatibility games list has been prompted by some clips of the game that were spread online through Xbox One's GameDVR and Upload Studio.

While several players have appeared to believe such speculation just by basing at the leaked video, it was eventually clarified that "this has been attributed to fans playing the PC version of the game, which can be viewed because of new Windows 10 app feature functionality."

With the game's popularity, the online news outlet disclosed that the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" title has already gathered a total of 150,000 votes for its inclusion in the Xbox One backwards compatibility list.

Meanwhile, it was learned that "Skate 3," another in-demand game title, will soon be part of the list, and this report has already been confirmed, unlike the "Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" which still do not have a release date until now.

In th meantime, the Daily Star reported that five games have just been added to the BC games list.

"Far Cry" series spin-off, the "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon," "Dirt 3," "Dirt Showdown," "Grid 2" and "Shank 2" are now available to play via BC.

Keep posted for more Xbox One backwards compatibility updates as we try to find out when the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" will be finally released.
