February is an interesting month for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. This month's Xbox Live Games with Gold includes classics like "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" and a remastered version of "Secret of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge."

Microsoft continually adds Xbox 360 games to the Xbox One backward compatibility feature. Every month, the company releases free titles for the owners of both consoles.

This month features stellar titles that have been hit in the previous years. According to Microsoft, there are four games available for this month.

The old predecessor of the Xbox One has a vault of memorable games that previous players rave about. This month will include two LucasArts games. A remastered version of "Secret of Monkey Island 2" and the first installment of the well acclaimed "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed."

"The Force Unleashed" is not included in the list of previous disappointing Star Wars game titles. The game puts you in the shoes of Darth Vader's apprentice, Starkiller.

You'll be surprised at the amount of mayhem this game has. Apart from using badass Force powers, this game has a good combat system that enables players to enjoy lots and lots of light-saber duels. The Game will be out on February 16 to 28.

The remastered version of the first Secret of Monkey Island game was not a bad one. LucasArts proceeded to give "Secret of Monkey Island 2" the same treatment back in 2010.

With fresh new graphics, added music scores, and an updated voice work, the game is up to par with most modern platform titles. Plus an added commentary from the designers makes this a great free game for new and old Xbox players. The game is available on February 1 to 15.

"Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime" is a tricky 2D action game that lets players control a flying ship around colorful but deadly environments. The game has a plethora of weapons, engines, and ships that are controlled by different stations in parts of the vessel. It puts players in real time management to survive the environment.The game is available on February 1 to 28.

"Project Cars Digital Edition" is a sandbox-style driving simulation game that's given the treatment of real-time driving physics. Players will be awed with super realistic handling and adaptive gameplay. The game features numerous cars and karts plus a selection of different motorsports on offer. Notably, Top Gear's Ben Collins and Top Gear fans should note that Ben Collins was involved in the development of the game.The game is available from February 16 to March 15.
