'Pokémon Sun and Moon' Strongest Pokémon Revealed Gamescom? More News That You Might Have Missed

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" gets a new trailer and introduces yet another new pokémon that might be the strongest reveal so far at Gamescom.

The newly introduced pokémon is called Turtonator and it is a fire/dragon type pokémon that looks more like a turtle on fire. This new pokémon is also another native to the Alolan region along with other pokémon in their Alolan forms.

Turtonator, as shown on the tweet above by pokémon fan twitter PokéJungle, is basically a turtle pokémon that resides near volcanoes. While there's no doubt that it has high defense, it's belly is still vulnerable to attacks.

It has Shell Armor ability, which increases it defense even higher from most common pokémon on its area.

It also has a unique move called Shell Trap. What it does is similar to arming itself a bomb trap that will be triggered once it is attacked by another pokémon, causing even more damage in return to the attacker.

Of all the recently revealed pokémon, it shows that Turtonator is one, if not the strongest, pokémon that is most formidable in battles.

Prior to Tortunator's reveal, other pokémon such as Alolan Raichu, Wishiwashi, Morelul and Alolan Meowth were also revealed, giving more variety to the already expansive pokémon roster just in the Alolan region.

For those who want to view the full news and Nintendo stream for Gamescom, the video below is available, though it is in German so enabling the closed caption options needs to be done for English speakers.

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" is scheduled to be released this coming November 18 for the Nintendo 3DS.
