'Mafia 3': Is Hangar 13 Spoiling Too Much Of The Game Ahead Of October Release Date? New Trailers Out

A new "Mafia 3" trailer was recently revealed today, featuring the Marcano family, one of the many characters players will meet in fictional New Bordeaux.

The powerful Italian crime family, with Sal Marcano at the helm, has maintained its iron grip on the city of New Bordeaux for a long time.

"Four brothers, bound to the mob their entire lives, are at a crossroads," the video description said. "Sal's son, Giorgi, wants to help usher in a new era even now as Lincoln Clay tries to tear the old ways apart."

By the looks of it, the Marcano Family will be the main antagonists in the game, with main character Lincoln Clay, a bi-racial man who comes home from the Vietnam War, set to, as the video description puts it, "tear the old ways apart."

The new trailer is just one of many trailers dropped recently for "Mafia 3." Earlier this week, Hangar 13 launched a new feature trailer called "The Heist," which was showcased at this year's Gamescom. Check out the video below.

What looks like a smart marketing strategy on Hangar 13's end, however, might just spoil the story for everyone else. The recent trailers, according to fans, just give too much of the plot away.

This does not affect the hype built for this game, though, as fans are eagerly waiting for this highly anticipated title.

Hangar 13 promises a great Italian mob experience, as well as the freedom to choose how the game will be played. There are various gameplay styles to try out, allowing players to get creative and choose whether to take out targets with guns blazing, or adopt a more subtle, diplomatic approach.

Protagonist Clay will be joined by "Voodoo Queen" Cassandra Burke and the protagonist of "Mafia 2," Vito Scaletta.

"Mafia 3" will be released on the Playstation 4, PC, Mac OS and Xbox One on October 7.
