Xbox One Backwards Compatibility: 'Call Of Duty: Black Ops II,' 'Mass Effect,' 'Skyrim,' 'GTA IV' Remain Most Requested
Jazz RosinMicrosoft continues to grow its ever expanding library of backwards compatible titles for the Xbox One. However, fans are still waiting for more big games to be added on the list.
It looks like a lot of "Call of Duty" fans want some of the early titles to make the jump to the Xbox One, as the franchise currently dominates the top ten most requested Xbox One backwards compatibility list.
The most requested "Call of Duty" game to be backwards compatible is "Call of Duty: Black Ops II." Apart from being the most wanted game in the "Call of Duty" franchise, the game is also currently the most requested title in the backwards compatibility list overall.
Other "Call of Duty" titles to make it to the top ten spot is "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" and "Call of Duty: World at War."
Despite Bethesda announcing a remastered version of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" at E3 this year, the title is still high on the most requested list of backwards compatible titles.
For those who do not know yet, the remastered version of "Skyrim," dubbed "Skyrim Special Edition" will be out on Oct. 28 for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. PC gamers who own either the original game with all the add-ons or the Legendary Edition on Steam will get a free upgrade, Bethesda has announced on Twitter.
However, players who owned the original game on the Xbox 360 still want the title to be backwards compatible, stating that they don't want to pay for a game that they already own.
Here is the list of the top ten requested games as of the moment:
"Call of Duty: Black Ops II"
"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2"
"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare"
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3"
"Call of Duty: World at War"
"Mass Effect 3"
"Grand Theft Auto IV"
"Mass Effect 2"
"Batman: Arkham City"
