It looks like fans of "Star Wars: Battlefront " will get their hands on the game's latest DLC, "Death Star," very soon.

The latest addition to the action shooter video game based on the popular "Star Wars" universe is set to be nearing its completion as its lighting artist Oscar Carlen is already working his magic on the expansion, according to The Star Wars Game Outpost.

"I have to double my effort today, even though you are not supposed to work on Sundays," the lighting lead said on Twitter when asked when he will be working on the "Death Star" DLC. "Trying to make the Emperor happy."

If you're wondering how this is significant to the DLC's near completion, it is because lighting work, along with visual effects, tends to be the last work done on the game. "Star Wars: Battlefront" lead designer Dennis Brannvall confirmed this during the "Outer Rim" livestream in March.

"They're always the ones who come in the latest to the level because it needs to be finished by then," Brannvall said. "So they come in pretty late and they have to work really hard, really fast, but the results are absolutely breathtaking."

SW Game Outpost further speculated that the "Death Star" DLC may be out by Sept. 20, based on the work currently being done on the expansion. The site also considered the length of time for certification, which usually takes around five to seven days, according to Kotaku.

However, it is also helpful to note that Season Pass holders always get to play the new DLC's two weeks ahead of everyone else. So the speculated Sept. 20 date may just be for the Season Pass, and the rest may probably get the game sometime around the first week of October.

Stay tuned for more "Star Wars: Battlefront" news, including the "Death Star" DLC's official release date.
