Tesla Model 3 Release Date, Specs, Features Rumors: Car To Sport All-Glass Panoramic Roof?
Dheeraj RThe latest rumors about the upcoming Tesla Model 3 suggested that the electric vehicle will sport many excellent specs like flat front panel, additional storage space, all-glass roof, Autopilot feature and supercharging functionality.
To start with, The Week reported that the Tesla Model 3 will feature an optional All-glass panoramic roof, which is reported to stretch from the bottom of the windshield to the curved rear end. It is rumored that the new glass feature will be made available in the high-end variant of the electric car.
Furthermore, in terms of other design specs, the Model 3 is expected to sport new traits like the total flat front portion along with the additional storage space beneath the bonnet. Also, the new car is stated to be smaller than the current Model S.
The new Tesla model is touted to sport a central touchscreen along with the Autopilot functionality. Reports claimed that the high-tech feature will allow the drivers to use functions like automatic navigation, lane altering and also help to avoid accidents on the highways. Electrek reported that it will also enable the Tesla Model 3 owners to call for their cars from different parking locations and garages.
In terms of power, charging and range-related specs, there are reports that the Model 3 will be able to drive at least 215 miles with just a single charge. BGR reported that the electric car owners will also be provided with an option of dual-motor thrust, which will help to them to boost the range and performance of their car.
Besides, Tesla's new electric car owners will also be provided with premium access to the network of Supercharger stations, which will allow them to quickly top-up their Model 3 on the go.
Apart from the specs and features, the release date rumors suggested that the first lot of the Tesla Model 3 cars will be made available by the end of 2017. The customers who have booked the new electric vehicles a little late are expected to receive their cars in 2018.
The Tesla Model 3 is rumored to be priced around £30,000 or $40000 with extra charges for features like the dual motor, Supercharger access, and the Autopilot option. However, Tesla has not provided any official confirmation on the rumored price and specs.
