Blizzard is off to a good start with the release of "World of Warcraft"'s latest expansion, "Legion." Fans are now looking forward to its first major patch, "Return To Karazhan."

The developer has announced the upcoming patch during this year's Gamescom even before "Legion" was officially live. "Return To Karazhan" will feature lots of new content, players will see the comeback of the iconic Karazhan in the form of a large five-player dungeon, and all nine bosses from the original will be included.

The most surprising thing about the announcement is that the latest patch is said to be already ready to deploy, shortly after "Legion" comes out. Blizzard said that the patch has been tested internally and will hit the game right after the expansion drops.

Two weeks into "Legion"'s launch, however, players have yet to see the patch coming. The patch is said to be launched on the Public Test Realm soon however, according ro WCCFTech.

Blizzard aims to give "World of Warcraft" players a steady stream of contents and updates. Thus we can speculate that the new patch may be launched sometime this month.

Speaking on the official forums, "World of Warcraft" Executive Producer J. Allen Brack told players that the launch of "Legion" is "just the beginning of the journey."

"As with many of you, we weren't happy with 'Warlords of Draenor''s patch cycle," Brack said, "and have changed our strategy for 'Legion', prioritizing more regular content releases."

Blizzard has sold over 3.3 million copies of "World of Warcraft: Legion" during its first day of release on Aug. 30, matching the records of previous expansion releases, according to PC Gamer. This also makes "World of Warcraft: Legion" one of the fastest-selling PC games ever.

"It's been a thrill to see players hunting demons, powering up Artifacts, and freely exploring all the new zones in Legion," Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime said in a press release. "We worked hard to make this the best 'World of Warcraft' expansion yet, and we look forward to providing players with even more content as Legion's epic story unfolds in the months ahead."

Stay tuned for more "World of Warcraft: Legion" updates.
