Nokia To Rise Again With Nokia C1? Rumored Specs, Features, Price Revealed
Michelle GuanzonNokia remains to be a household name due to its vital role in the establishment of the smartphone marketplace. However, the Finnish company has struggled to assert itself in the niche when Apple and Samsung came into the picture. Now, the Nokia C1 will be its latest attempt to prove that it is still in the game.
During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri commented that Nokia is looking to re-enter the smartphone market, following the sale of Lumia business to Microsoft.
"We almost owe it to ourselves to go experiment in the consumer area. If and when we find a world-class partner who can take on those responsibilities, we would work closely with them to guide the design and technology differentiation as we did with the Nokia N1 Android tablet," Suri stated back in March.
It was reported that the Nokia C1 will be featuring a full HD display, 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras and Intel processor.
GSM Arena also noted though it was not confirmed yet, that the Nokia C1 will have internal 32 GB and 2 GB RAM storage. Furthermore, it was also rumored to feature Intel processor with separate Android and Windows 10 variants.
"The smartphone is intended to be all things to all people and can certainly be views as a mass-market device," sources added.
Additionally, the new Nokia C1 is rumored to be extremely affordable with a possible price tag of $299 suggesting in United States.
Pictures of Nokia's upcoming device were believed to be leaked and a video surfaced on Youtube showing the allegedly first look of the Nokia C surfaced.
Though many users are interested to see what Nokia, the maker of iconic and sturdy basic phones, can do in today's age, the Finnish tech company has yet to announce the Nokia C1's release.
