'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Spoilers, News & Updates: Production Begins, Studio Already Has Enough Manga Material?
Vivian E.The production of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 may begin soon. Later reports claimed that Studio Pierrot already has enough manga material to chalk out the plot for the most anticipated third season.
It was reported that the popular anime series will return airing once the studio giant has enough sources that would give a complete storyline for an entire season, News Everyday reported.
The news outlet noted that Sui Ishida's manga is just a couple of chapters ahead of the anime adaptation. Hence, pushing the "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 production would apparently hamper and slack its manga counterpart.
Aside from that, many avid fans were also requesting the makers to stay with the original manga source, considering how things played out in "Tokyo Ghoul" season 2 - which is a complete alternate story spun.
While nothing has been officially set in stone yet, speculations are rife that Touka Kirishima's excursion to college will presumably be the fundamental focus of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3. It is said that Touka Kirishima, who is a ghoul and ex-waitress at Anteiku, abhors Ken Kaneki.
"This is perhaps the most disillusioning, psychological and darkest plot line that we will attempt to adapt," Anime writer Bob told Anime Maru. "Although we cannot guarantee that more gory scenes such as Touka's standardized exam test-taking will not be censored."
Other spoilers and predictions suggest that the much-awaited third season will be the bloodiest one in the entire "Tokyo Ghoul" franchise. According to Hall of Fame Magazine, "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 will most likely feature the grotesque scene of Kishou Arima cutting his own throat before Ken Kaneki.
It is said that Arima will help Ken Kaneki in repossessing his lost memory. The two grow fond of each other's company, but an inevitable rematch battle presumably happens.
While nothing is impossible, the reports should still be taken with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 news and updates here.
