Huawei Mate 9 Release Date This November? New Device To Launch In 4 Variants With 9 Color Options?
Kirsten KaneHuawei is anticipated to launch its much awaited Mate 9 smartphone this early November. It is a direct successor to the Mate 8, which was officially released back in November last year.
The device is expected to come in three variants. Two models will have 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage options, and one top model will come with 6GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It was also said that the Huawei Mate 9 is likely to include a USB Type-C support.
Unlike other smartphone, the new device may offer nine different colors, including amber gold, amber gray, ceramic white, champagne gold, mocha gold, silver, pink gold, shiny black, and sky gray.
Moreover, the device is rumored to sport a 5.9-inch screen and 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution with a pixel density of 373ppi and might feature a Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The new flagship phone is said to be equipped with a 8MP front snapper and 20MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and dual -LED (dual tone) flash. Features like FM radio, fast battery charging, and fingerprint scanning technology are also projected.
Talking about its operating system, it might run on the latest Android Nougat with Huawei's Emotion UI 5 running atop. However, some reports suggested that it will house an Android Marshmallow OS.
The price is said to start at $510 or 3399 Yuan for its lowest model and could go up to $705 or 4699 Yuan for its premium variant.
However, knowing that it is rumored to be released in one and a half months from now, the Huawei Mate 9 might be a perfect Christmas gift this coming holiday season.
