Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco's 'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Romantic Scene Sparks New Dating Rumors
Michelle GuanzonSparks flew once again for Kaley Cuoco and Johny Galecki's characters. Will it be the continuation to their cut-off real-life romance?
The former real-life couple were cast in a familiar light Monday during the season 10 premiere of "The Big Bang Theory," where their characters Penny and Leonard shared a nostalgic kiss and wedding vows once again.
The characters previously tied the knot on the season 9 premiere, but decided on a redo wedding ceremony so that they could include their friends and family.
Kaley revealed on a report that they dated for almost two years off-screen between 2008 and 2009.
"It was a wonderful relationship, but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together," she said. Everyone was always asking, and we deny-deny-denied. And I'm like, "Why am I denying this person that I love?"'
Despite the potential awkwardness of working together as a couple after dating in real-life, Cuoco and Galecki have remained as close friends since they ended their two-year relationship in 2010. Moreover, the two have made it a point to regularly shut down any speculation about their rekindled romance.
Kaley Cuoco recently opened up amidst her split from Ryan Sweeting about the idea of possible rekindling of her romantic relationship with Galecki.
"Johnny and I are very close now, but the worst part about that is I don't want stories like that, especially during this divorce, to hurt my ex," she said. "We have nods with each other. Johnny and I do this thing like a nod that says, 'I got you. I get it,'" Cuoco said in Cosmopolitan interview.
Similarly, Galecki said they did not want to "distract from the storylines on the show."
"She's not an ex, she's a part of my life," Galecki said making it clear that he does not see Cuoco as his ex.
Moreover, Kaley Cuoco cleared up the rumors with "The Big Bang Theory" co-star Johny Galecki as she took to Instagram to deny it. She is currently dating the 26-year-old equestrian, Karl Cook.
