Samsung Galaxy Tab S3: Tablet To Sport Exynos 8890 Chipset With 4GB RAM?
Dheeraj RAfter no-show at the recent IFA 2016 event, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be launched by mid-2017 with revolutionary specs and features like Exynos processor, huge RAM capacity, and huge battery capacity, to mention a few.
Neuro Gadget reported that the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will consist of powerful Exynos 8890 octa-core chipset similar to that of other Samsung devices like Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Rumors also suggested that the device will sport huge RAM capacity of 4 GB and internal storage option of 32 GB and 64 GB. However, few reports hinted that the tablet might also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor for providing the users with enhanced performance.
Furthermore, according to the leaked design images of the Galaxy Tab S3 posted by Evan Blass, it is touted that the upcoming tablet will consist of an aspect ratio of 4:3 as against 16:10 and a curved-edged chassis. In terms of display specs, the Samsung tablet is expected to be launched in two variants based on their screen size of 8-inch and 9.7-inch with AMOLED display and 4K resolution.
The Samsung device will also feature an 8-magapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front camera. The Galaxy Tab S3 will also likely sport a USB Type-C port similar to that of the Galaxy Note 7 device.
As far as the software specs are concerned, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy tablet is touted to run on the latest 6.0.1 version of the Android Marshmallow operating system with planned upgrade to the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. In terms of battery specs, the 8-inch variant of the Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to consist of 4000 mAh battery whereas the 9.7-inch variant will be launched with a larger 5870 mAh battery with 14.2 hours screen-on-time.
Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be priced around $420. However, no official confirmation has been provided by the South Korean technology giant. Keep posted for more updates.
