Harry Potter series is at the end. We have seen the last movie - Harry Potter 8: The Deathly Hallows Part 2 - and the last book in the series. But many Potter fans are demanding for more. Here is some good news for them - LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 app is now available for iPhone and iPad.
Warner Brothers and TT games bring the wand swinging magic to iOS with a great gameplay. The game is definitely aimed for kids, but even young and adult find the little 3-D game addictive. It is based on last four movie titles - the Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, where player proceeds with polishing his magic skills, defeat evil wizards and finally lands in with a boss battle with Lord Voldemort to make the good win against the evil. The LEGO character is loaded up with various magic spells, which are derived from the original movies titles. The spell inventory includes spells like Expecto Patronum, Reducto, Wingardium Leviosa and a lot more.
LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 iOS game is much-like the PS Vita app that was released in March. The gameplay is almost the same, only controls are different. On-screen controls are responsive to deliver a fine quality gameplay, but few players are finding the D-Pad difficult to use, which was also a problem in case of LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4. Hope the game developer releases a patch soon to tweak the gameplay as it did with the old iOS game. Users will face different challenges and will learn different magic skills throughout the game.
iOS game contains some additional goodies too. It features a Dueling Club expansion pack that let player take on Harry Potter characters like Professor Snape and Lord Voldemort.
The iOS app hit the App store on May 3, and is available for download. The app is priced at $4.99 and works on both iPhone and iPad. LEGO games are available on almost every gaming platform. But LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 is the second one on iOS. In November 2010, LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 was made available on iOS.
