The Moto G4 Plus, the new addition to the Moto G series of Lenovo-owned Motorola, is an upgraded version of the Moto G4 with a larger screen, some extra added features, and 4 GB of RAM for enhanced multi-tasking skills.

The Moto G4 Plus has been a popular smartphone choice for new smartphone buyers. However, the market offers other options too, one of which, at a higher price, is the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

From the display perspective, the G4 Plus packs a 5.5 Inch IPS LCD Capacitive display with 1080x1920 Pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, whereas, the S6 Edge has a smaller screen size of 5.1 Inch AMOLED Screen and a greater resolution of 1440x2560 Pixels and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. 

Under the hood, the G4 Plus comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor which provides a seamless performance. There are no glitches felt and all the heavy apps and games run smoothly withough experiencing any lag. The Octa Core processor of this phone is clocked at 1.5 Ghz.

In the case of Samsung's Galaxy S6, the phone comes with a 1.5 Ghz Octa core processor. Again, no lags are experienced, and the performance is as somooth as cream.

However, with an additional gigabyte in store, the G4 plus takes down the S6.

The Moto phone comes with a version of Android that is almost similar to the stock Android, which is found in Nexus phones. The Samsung model comes with a Touchwiz layer, which is its own skin atop Android. Both of these phones are powered by Android 6.0..1 Marshmallow, and future updates are guareanteed.

The camera of these phones are highly recommended for mobile photographers.These phones can capture great images in low lightnig and reproduce original colors. The G4 Plus camera has a dual tone LED flash, an advantage over the S6 Edge.

The Moto G4 Plus has a bigger screen, a more powerful CPU, and better battery performance that outruns the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Hence, the Moto G4 Plus is a better performer in multitasking and battery performance, whereas the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has better processor, design, and display. With a curved design, it also offers a higher resolution on a smaller screen.
