Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 2016 Release Date Still Set? Tablet Rumored To Inherit S7 Specs, Features With Design Same To Tab S2
C PrakashThe wait finally seems to be over for the elusive Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 release date. According to rumors, it is fully expected to launched by the end of 2016.
Samsung is rescheduling the launch of its tablets and mobiles after the Note 7 fiasco. Unfortunately, aside from a smattering of leaks and rumors, not much is heard about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. This comes to no surprise as Samsung tablets have always been under the wraps in previous years before launch.
A recent leaked picture of the Galaxy Tab S3 confirms that it looks similar to than predecessor, the Tab S2. The design is familiar with a Home button, plastic back, and a 4:3 display ratio.
One rumor suggests that the latest addition will feature a major hardware upgrade like Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM, 4000 mAh battery and 32 GB storage.
The tablet is also likely to borrow some specification from the Samsung Galaxy S7, and that's a good thing. Another rumor suggests that we can expect to see the Galaxy Tab S3 featuring the powerful Exynos 8890 chip which is in S7. Since Galaxy S7 has received a 10/10 score in many tech reviews, we are hoping for a good competitor to make some serious dent in the iPad Air 2 sales.
The price of Samsung premium range phones and tablets will come down to a lot of factors. The recent Note 7 blunder had made a huge dent in the business.
The Galaxy Tab S2 costs $399 for the 8-inch version and $499 for 9.7-inch. We would expect similar or even lesser price for the Galaxy Tab S3. There may be a few differences and it will likely be even more for a larger storage size model. Stay tuned for more updates on the elusive tablet.
