Google Pixel vs OnePlus 3 vs Samsung Galaxy S7 Review: Specs & Features Faceoff
Anish AsokanWith the Google Pixel, OnePlus 3, and the Samsung Galaxy S7, LG V20 becoming some of the instant 2016 hits in the market, we thought of comparing these flagship smartphones and see which is the best buy option.
When it comes to physical design, the OnePlus 3 is taller and wider than the Google Pixel S7, which is followed by the Galaxy S7. The OnePlus 3 also denser with sleeker look than the Samsung smartphone, followed by the Pixel model.
Looking at the display, the screen size is topped by OnePlus smartphone, followed by the Galaxy S7, and then by the Pixel. The Google Pixel and the OnePlus 3 have similar screen resolutions, but are less than what the Samsung Galaxy smartphone has. The Samsung Galaxy S7 has the best pixel per inch among the three smartphones, as per NDTV Gadgets, which is followed by Google's smartphone, and then by the OnePlus model.
According to Go Android ,the Google Pixel is powered by the 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821,while OnePlus 3 is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and the Galaxy S7 is powered by 2.15 dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.The Pixel tops the charts when it comes to faster CPU speed followed by the OnePlus smartphone and then by Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
The RAM capacity is similar for both Samsung and Pixel smartphones but lower than that found in the OnePlus smartphone. Both Galaxy S7 and Google own smartphone has similar internal storage capacity but twice lesser than what OnePlus 3 smartphone has.
From the camera perspective, the OnePlus model has 16MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera. The Google Pixel comes with 12.3 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera and the S7 model comes with 12 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. It seems OnePlus 3 tops the charts when it comes to camera performance followed by the Pixel smartphone and then by the Samsung Galaxy S7 .
The battery capacity is topped jointly by Galaxy S7 and OnePlus 3 smartphones followed by the Google Pixel. The Samsung Galaxy S7 remains the only smartphone among three to have expandable storage option. Among the three models, Google Pixel is the only smartphone which does not support Dual-SIM.
To pick a clear winner among the Samsung Galaxy S7, Google Pixel, and OnePlus 3 seems to be difficult as all of the smartphones have outstanding and competitive features. It would be up to the requirements and interests of the shopper to decide a winner.
