Dheeraj RWith the festive season around the corner, the Black Friday 2016 predictions about offers, store hours, and free shipping deals of Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us have surfaced. This year the Black Friday falls on November 25, one day after Thanksgiving, which is just a month away. Below we have jotted down all the latest rumors and predictions about the big day.
AL reported that all the major retailers are expected to provide great discounts, which will help them save about 38 percent when equated with the regular expenses. According to the reports, Target might offer around 35 to 40 percent discount on its products to mark this years' Black Friday.
When it comes to free delivery, Cetureon reported that Target is rumored to offer free shipping service with no pre-condition of minimum order. Also, Walmart's free shipping charges are expected to start from $50 whereas customers with Prime or Shipping Pass membership will not have to pay any fee.
As far as the store opening times are concerned, Target is expected to open on Thanksgiving at 6 pm, similar to Walmart, which will also launch its sale at the same time. However, it is speculated that Walmart might open its stores at 5 pm in order to provide tough competition to Best Buy and Target. On the other hand, Toys R Us will open its stores one day before Black Friday 2016 at 5 pm and carry forward the trend going on for the past three years.
Moreover, Black Friday 2016 predictions hinted that Walmart and Toys R Us are expected to disclose their advertisements about this year's deals and offers on November 10, whereas Target will release its official advertisement on November 8.
On the other hand, few reports stated that Black Friday 2016 is predicted to mark $9.2 billion sales figure, which is touted to be a drop of 10 percent as compared to the last year.
