"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 is getting more interesting as it is loaded with twists and turns.

Last week's episode, Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) has survived his operation after being shot in the Season 2 finale, while Xo Villanueva (Andrea Navedo) revealed that she has decided to abort her baby with Esteban. However, the biggest surprise was when Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) declared that he had no feelings for Jane (Gina Rodriguez) anymore.

Many fans are worried that it might be the end of the show's love triangle. Showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman,  as reported by Seattle Pi, said that it is the end for "now."

"It is now," series creator said."It is so hard to describe because I know where all these choices go, but it's not over, but it is over now. I would say people should still hold out hope because things get complicated and life gets complicated. It's there underneath. We're not at the end of our series, ideally."

In addition, Urman in an interview told TVLine that he was" frankly, sick of playing the love triangle."

Rafael's new character has "opened us up to having more drama," the executive producer continued. "What happens when [Rafael] dates someone Jane doesn't like? What happens when that person wants to get their hands on Mateo?"

The series producer has also revealed in the same interview that Michael will still be in a bad condition as the next episode for "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 continues.

"The healing and recovery from such a harrowing occurence is something we continue ahead [to play]," Urman said.

However, there were speculations that Michael will not stay long in "Jane the Virgin" as he will die in one of the episodes to give way to Jane and Rafael's romance. This rumor is still to be verified. For a while, Michael and Jane will move at her parent's house.

"I liked the idea of a newlywed having to live with her mom and grandma. Their relationship doesn't have the traditional newlywed takeoff," the creator said.
