Wes Gibbin is the one under the sheet as seen "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Episode 9. Upcoming episode 10 next year will deal with the aftermath of his death and Annalise's effort to unfold the mystery. This may also reveal Laurel's baby daddy.

Many did not expect that Wes will be dead in "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Episode 9. But alas, the poor man was the one under the sheet, after the house of Annalise burned to a crisp. With this revelation, episode 9 left viewers lots of cliffhangers that certainly need to be addressed when the show returns on January 19, 2017.

TVLine notes the mysteries of his sudden death including: First, did Wes go to Annalise house after he left the police station? Second is who set Annalise's house on fire? And last, whether or not Wes is the father of Laurel's baby.

Additionally, Bustle recaps that the dearly departed Wes hooked up with Laurel earlier this season. They even exchanged 'I love you' even though Gibbins was in a relationship with Meggy in an episode before that.

The publication also speculates that Laurel may not even know that she's pregnant or will have an idea that it could be Wes'. But Frank will doubt that it's his, and might lead to a revelation that Laurel's baby daddy is Wes.

Although it's too early to speculate what could happen next year, the only thing that's sure for now, as per actor Alfred Enoch, "Wes looks pretty dead to me. And I felt pretty dead when I was lying on that autopsy table."

The actor adds that Episode 10 will slowly start to unfold the mystery behind Wes death. By the end of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3, viewers will finally be able to discover the person behind it all.
