"Diablo 3" from Blizzard has now officially arrived after months of waiting. Because gamers are always looking to make their gaming experiences better, we are continuously providing a boatload of important know-hows and tips for a better "Diablo 3" campaign. We had previously provided tips about how to earn extra gold, level up faster and get items, and now we will discuss the game's auction houses and what you need to remember about them before you make a purchase.
Here are the tips that will help you get going.
Tip 1: Note that both real-money and gold-based auction houses are be anonymous and no one will be able to see your real name, BattleTag or character name when they're making purchases at the auction houses. What this will do is that it will add extra security to the game and, at the same time, will also allow help people to farm who are always putting up high-tier items.
Tip 2: Proceeds from your auctions in your Battle.net Balance will only be received after Blizzard takes a 15 percent cut. Moreover, players only in certain selected regions will be able to send the proceeds directly to their PayPal account. Note that your Battle.net Balance can even be used to buy digital products from Blizzard like WoW (World of Warcraft) realm transfers, digital versions of games, and a lot more.
However, if you decide to transfer your proceeds to PayPal, there will be a 15 percent transfer fee on top of the other 15 percent cut that Blizzard already claims per posting. Note that you will also have to choose which method you're going to make use of before posting each auction, on a per-auction basis.
Tip 3: As per a previous announcement, the gold-based auction house is now available as expected. Blizzard now plans to present the real-money auction house online approximately one week after the game's U.S. launch. The game arrived on May 15, 2012.
Tip 4: For those of you wanting to buy weapons and other items from the auction houses, this may come as a bad news. Blizzard has no plans for posting weapons, armor, or other items in the real-money auction house. This is because they want the players only to sell the items they've obtained throughout the campaign at the auction houses, and feel that anything else will just mess up the economy.
Tip 5: This is important. Remember that Blizzard will not be providing refunds or making other accommodations for you if you altered an item, you bought, via a patch. Be very sure that you want that item because once it has been nerfed, there's no going back.
Tip 6: Be a bit patient because it will take nearly three days for proceeds to appear in your Battle.net Balance or PayPal. However, in some unusual cases, it could take up to five days for the proceeds to appear. So remember to not freak out thinking that Blizzard or someone has cheated you.
Tip 7: This is actually an important tip for all those who are confused. Note that Hardcore-mode characters will not be able to access the real-money auction house. They'll only be able to buy and sell items with other Hardcore characters from a gold-based auction house. Moreover, if a Hardcore character is killed with items they bought from the auction house, they'll automatically lose all those items as well.
Tip 8: Before making any kind of purchase, remember that items are bound to the servers in the region in which they were bought. This means that if you happen to buy an item in the American region, then that item will not be transferred to a European or Asian server.
