'Grimm' Season 7 To Be Released On Netflix Instead? Season 6 Not The Finale Yet?

It seems that the main casts of "Grimm" season 6 are also hoping for the renewal of "Grimm" season 7, most specially David Giuntoli, who is set to embark on his first experience as a director.
Rumors are still making rounds that there will also be another sequel after season 6, adding to David Giuntoli's directorial debut this season. The director is also hopeful that this will not be the end of the show for him to direct further.
Fans are showing their support in the online petitions for Nick Burkhardt and the gang to continue their adventure in a new season. One certain online petition dedicated to the salvation of "Grimm" season 7 has already reached its goal of 15,000 supporters. Another online petition in change.org is specifically petitioning for Netflix to take charge of the series after "Grimm" season 6. However, there were no official announcement yet whether the petitions will be granted.
It can be recalled that "Grimm" will come to a close after its upcoming sixth season, NBC confirmed on August. Announcing the premiere date for Season 6 in a press release, the network stated that it will be "the final season."
"Grimm" has been a steady Friday night staple for NBC, hitting the 100-episode mark last season. Launching in 2011 on Friday nights, the first season averaged more than 6.3 million viewers, while the second season, which shifted timeslots from Mondays to Fridays to Tuesdays, averaged nearly 7 million viewers.
"Grimm" was created by David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf, and Stephen Carpenter. Greenwalt and Kouf serve as executive producers, along with Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills. Universal Television also producers. It is slated for season 6 release on January 6, 2017.
