Best Android Games For 2016: 'Pokémon GO,' 'Total War Battles,' More
C. de LacyThere had been tons of great games for the Android operating system this year; and while we're still a few more stretches away from 2017, here are some of our picks as the best Android games for 2016 covering paid and free ones.
We'll be listing the games in no particular order. We'll also include the paid games that most users and players deem worthy of purchasing.
Total War Battles: Kingdom (FREE)
For the fans of the popular real time strategy game "Total War," the same game under the name of "Total War: Rome" just got released on the iOS. Unfortunately, it wasn't released on the Android, though this game called "Total War Battles: KINGDOM" is a great homage to the series itself.
Developed by GAMELOFT, who is also popular for paying tributes to a number of great games, "Total War Battles: KINGDOM" is one such game that may potentially put mobile hits like "Clash of Clans" to rest.
Party Hard Go (PAID)
Another low-profile, yet great game to play. "Party Hard Go" is the android version of the original "Party Hard" game that was just recently released on Steam.
The game puts the player into the shoes of a normal person going insane over non-stop loud parties in his neighborhood. The game's goal is to kill everyone, which can be done in lots of creative manners while utilizing stealth, the environment and the player's trusty knife.
Pokémon GO (FREE)
This game doesn't really require any introduction, but it was one of the best games of all times in the mobile gaming history. It could even be better in terms of mileage with another mobile hit called "Clash of Clans."
Despite having a lot of drawbacks, a lot of people, fans and non-fans alike, still play the game even after the hype have waned down a little. A lot of expectations are also being set with the upcoming Gen 2.
Adventures of Mana (PAID)
For those looking for some classic JRPG action, "Adventures of Mana" is a game worth checking out. The game is developed by Square Enix and it has the "Mana" on its title so fans of the series won't have to think twice of getting it.
The game's mechanics is similar to most "Mana" games from Square and this game has been designed for a more modern aesthetic and rich story to boot with.
There are still some notable games that we weren't able to cover her, but be sure to stay tuned for more lists and update on the best games for Android.
