The latest NBA trade rumors suggested that the Cleveland Cavaliers might enter a three-team deal with the New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns. Reports suggested that the Cavaliers might bring in the Knicks' power forward Carmelo Anthony before the trade deadline.

As per the reports, the Cavaliers are currently planning to reshuffle their roster in order to defend their NBA title; and bringing Anthony is expected to be their finishing move for the season. Rumors hinted that Anthony will provide the Cavaliers with excellent defensive skills, which will help them maintain their dominance in the NBA league.

According to the rumored trade deal, the Cleveland Cavaliers might also receive the Phoenix Suns' 2017 first-round NBA draft pick along with Anthony.

It is also stated that even Carmelo Anthony is looking out for a new team as he is currently disappointed with the New York Knicks. Reports suggested that the 32-year-old veteran player might himself ask the Knicks management to trade him before the trade deadline.

The Knicks might also trade him in order to get shooting guard Devin Booker and center Tyson Chandler from the Phoenix Suns. This trade deal is expected to help the Knicks to improve their offensive skillset and thus, provide a tough competition to other teams on the roster.

The remaining part of the deal is said to witness the trade of Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love to the Phoenix Suns, who will send Booker and Chandler to the New York Knicks.

The rumored trade scenario is touted to be acceptable and legal as per the ESPN NBA Trade Machine based on the NBA trade rules and salary cap policy. However, there is still no official word on whether the teams will go ahead with the deal involving Anthony, Love, Booker, and Chandler.

Keep posted for more updates and NBA trade rumors on the Cleveland Cavaliers, the New York Knicks, and the Phoenix Suns.
