The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Philadelphia 76ers might enter a four-team deal with the Washington Wizards, the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Boston Celtics before the trade deadline. Reports suggested that the 76ers will end up with Wizards' point guard John Wall and Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis as a part of the deal.

Sports Rageous reported that the Philadelphia 76ers is planning to upgrade their roster in order to vacate their overcrowded frontcourt. Reports stated that the team is currently struggling to provide enough playing minutes to the center players Jahlil Okafor, Joel Embiid, and Nerlens Noel, which has paved way for the trade rumors.

According to the NBA trade speculations, the Philadelphia 76ers are currently eyeing Davis and Wall in exchange for Noel. Adding the two players is expected to help the 76ers with excellent offensive and defensive skills and thus, help them to put up high scores on the board in the NBA season.

As far as Noel's future team is concerned, rumors hinted that the Philadelphia 76ers might send him to the Boston Celtics in order to make sure the deal works. In return, it is stated that the Celtics will trade their point guard Marcus Smart to the Washington Wizards. Bringing Noel onto their roster is expected to help the Celtics to enhance their offensive skills in the frontcourt along with power forward Al Horford and point guard Isaiah Thomas.

On the other hand, the rumored trade scenario is also touted to be beneficial for the Washington Wizards. Reports suggested that adding Smart onto their roster will help the Wizards to further give a boost to their shooting skills and thus, improve their ranking in the NBA league.

To add on to the deal, the Philadelphia 76ers is also expected to trade their power forward Ersan Ilyasova to the New Orleans Pelicans, who will then release Davis in return. It is stated that Ilyasova will provide the Pelicans with excellent defensive skills, which will help them to become one of the top contenders in the NBA league.
