'Red Dead Redemption' News: A Chance To Finally Experience The Game On PC
C. de LacyFor those who have been dreaming of playing "Red Dead Redemption" on PC, here's the opportunity to do so with just a few quirks and extremely minor setbacks.
A month ago, Sony made an announcement about the game "Red Dead Redemption" hitting the PS Now service. That service starts today onwards and PS Now subscribers will now be able to play and stream the game on either the PS4 or PC.
For PlayStation 4 owners, this might be a bit of a downer, especially for those who have owned the game on the PlayStation 3, but for PC players who never had access to the PS3 will surely find this chance too hard to let go.
The expansion "Undead Nightmare" is also now available to play and is a standalone game so it is not necessary to play the original game before hopping to the zombie-infested wild west.
For those interested to try out "Red Dead Redemption" and other PlayStation exclusive titles on the PC, Sony has brought back its $99.99 annual subscription though under a limited time only. PC owners will have access to such games like "Uncharted" and "God of War 3."
For those willing to wait for a "better" gaming experience with "Red Dead Redemption," there's always the choice of waiting for a "Red Dead Redemption" game on the PS4 via petition. This isn't the sequel slated for a 2017 release.
However, there's no assurance whether this would happen despite reaching the goal or not and more so, the chances of the game being released on the PC as a standalone game without streaming services is almost close to none.
The sequel "Red Dead Redemption 2" is scheduled to be released next year around fall and this would be the best chance to play the previous entry in the series, especially for those who never owned the PS3, but has access to a PS4 or PC and is subscribed to PS Now service.
