Galaxy S8 Concept Details And Specs: Bezel-Less, Wraparound, 4K Display, And More!
Portia Mae M. CansancioRumors spreading like wildfire for Samsung's Galaxy S8 are causing uncertainty for many people. One thing is for sure, though; the Galaxy S8 will follow in the footsteps of the South Korean handset maker's current smartphone flagships, the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge.
As you may recall, the company has been struggling to bounce back from the Note 7 fiasco for a while now. In hopes of regaining the trust of many who seem to have abandoned the brand after the unfortunate incident, the company is making sure that the rumored Galaxy S8 will not just be any smartphone.
Luckily, it seems that the reports are somehow true because the first impressions on the Galaxy S8 are by far great due to major improvements. Veniamin Geskin, a famous and well-known smartphone designer, has even returned to give his idea on a concept for the Galaxy S8.
Geskin considered that Samsung will likely remove the Home Button and add the fingerprint scanner at the display's bottom part, almost similar to the Apple iPhone 8 rumors. Its bezels will be considered thin and its display is curved, running all the way down to the sides; no power, volume or lock buttons will be found on the smartphone.
DBS design has created another concept for the Galaxy S8. Its body will appear as a single layer of aluminum, which ultimately gives it a finesse look. Combined with a wraparound display, it gives off a remarkable representation. Compared to other Galaxy S8 rumors, this will not follow the rumored bezel-less design. There will still be bezels, but only thinner than the S7 --- located at the top and bottom, where the Home button and fingerprint sensor will be located.
Samsung has not released any details yet on the Samsung Galaxy S8, but there's one thing about it that is believed to be accurate: the Galaxy S8 will most likely get the new Snapdragon 835 chipset and a 13MP duel-lens camera, along with a staggering 256GB of internal storage that can still be expandable through a MicroSD card. It will still run on Android 7.1 Nougat as well, along with a 4K display that can take advantage of VR and a little difference on its bezel display.
