Paid Apple Apps Now Available For Free: 11 iOS Paid Apps Are Now Free To Download; For A Limited Time Only!
Staff ReporterApple's got one heck of a Christmas gift ready for all its loyal iOS users. If you've got an Apple iPhone, iPod, or iPad, you're in luck. For a limited time only, a good chunk of the latest paid iOS apps are now free to download. And they're pretty good apps, too. The list includes practical apps like MailTime Pro and apps for hours of entertainment such as Goat Simulator and SomaFM Radio Player.
To date, there are about 11 normally paid Apple apps that are free to download now. Best hurry, though. According to Phone Arena, there's no word yet as to when this super sale ends. If you've ever wanted to try one of the apps listed below, but unwilling to pay for it, there's no time like Christmas time to get what you want.
BGR listed the 11 apps currently on sale and their regular price. Here are a couple of highlights:
Topping the list is MailTime Pro, an e-mailing app that makes exchanging e's as easy as text messaging. The interface is designed to look like Apple's own standard messenger; a nice and neat conversation with cute bubbles, as opposed to a monster of cluttered email threads and multiple RE:'s in the subject line.
Normally $2.99 on the app store, MailTime Pro is now free for a limited amount of time.
Next up is a classic simulation game, Goat Simulator. There's nothing better than a game that asks you to cause as much virtual destruction as possible, a great way to end stressful days, and taking that fantasy up a notch. You play as a goat and your only objective is to wreck things.
Now, this game normally goes for $4.99. Paying five bucks just for the opportunity to wreck stuff (as a goat) may be unappealing to some people, who would argue that those five bucks would be better spent on froyo. However, now that the game is free, the usual arguments don't apply.
