Samsung, based in South Korea, has been reportedly close to finalizing a deal with LG Chem for a smart phone or mobile battery supple which will take into implementation in the latter half of the next year, 2017.
Stated in "Chosun Ilbo", a local newspaper in South Korea, the partnership and the business deal is probably has 90 percent chance to occur. Associated with LG and Apple, LG Chem has been making handheld or mobile batteries, according to Reuters.
As one of the leading mobile and smartphone company in the world, Samsung, regrettably removed the Galaxy Note 7 from their line up in the first part of October this year, after numerous incidents were reported that the gadgets heats up and/or catches fire. Though the vendor at first finds fault in a batch of under quality batteries from Samsung SDI for the incidents, and recalled a couple millions of units, the vendor admits defeat after some primary replacement parts and units from its other supplier, Amperex Tech, also encountered the same malfunctions and challenges.
Samsung, the Korean Vendor, last November, initiated a drive to get back the trust of the mobile consumer community to believe in their brand. Initially, the company has released several advertisements in the United States that announces, that the company is conducting a thorough and rigid investigation and lastly the company promises that they would post and reveal the results of the investigation by the end of the year.
On the early part of the month, the company expressed that almost 10 percent of the Galaxy Note 7 device owners in Europe have failed or was not able to return the recalled devices, at around 3 months after the device was originally recalled by the company.
By this steady development, hopefully, Samsung recovers from their recent tragic challenge with their battery supply, by this partnership and deal to come.
