"Friday the 13th: The Game" is one title that many feel excited about, with the company not backing down on its promise of releasing teasers every now and then. That being said, a new and interesting revelation was given by Gun Media that could make the anticipation even more unbearable.

Not much news came out regarding the Kickstarter plan but, now, something new has ascended from the ashes-a new gameplay footage. Setting aside the dread of the game being a suspense or thriller adventure, it seems as if there really is a way on how to beat the immortal slasher.

Recent reports from Game Rant on the "Friday the 13th: The Game" state that while a gameplay video recently surfaced from the beta, there are those already thinking up ways take out Jason Voorhees. Certain Reddit users claim that after multiple attempts, Jason can be eliminated temporarily, one of which is by him falling off the map. Other Redditors claim that they went as far as taking off his mask after getting hit by an axe.

With these results, some gamers reportedly say that Jason Voorhees is still a mortal in "Friday the 13th: The Game." This has yet to be confirmed, however. Even Tommy Jarvis, the character who first took out Jason in the first movie, seems unable to beat the nightmarish entity.

"Friday the 13: The Game" is a rendition of the movie launched in the late 70's that highlighted the revenge of a slasher who was left to die by the counselors of Camp Crystal Lake. The child known as Jason Voorhees was resurrected and has become one of the most recognized film myths in history, donning a gigantic machete and the infamous hockey mask.

"Friday the 13th: The Game" will be launched in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. No specific date has been appointed to it just yet.
