"The Last Guardian" has become one of the most promising games to date after almost nine years of waiting for the title to come out. Now, something to pay tribute to the PlayStation exclusive is being prepared for those now utterly hooked to the tale.

After a long wait for "The Last Guardian," Sony's Japan Studio and Gen Design confirmed that they are finally working with Future Press to produce "The Last Guardian: An Extraordinary Story." The book itself is not only a tangible reference on the further aspects of the title, but also an easily-absorbed strategic manual for those looking to accomplish more.

A recent tweet from Future Press confirmed the plans, explaining other ways the book can function. "The Last Guardian: An Extraordinary Story" is expected to act as a visual aid for the progression of the game lore, writes Polygon. Given the many years put into its production, there are not too many revelations on it yet, especially as the title was fresh from its launch two weeks ago.

In other news, recent reviews on Forbes say that "The Last Guardian" may have a few flaws to note. One is the rather unfriendly delivery of the controls, which many have complained about, as well as the oddities involved around the featured beast, which seemingly does not adhere to the commands of the player. Overall, the game is considered good but not entirely perfect; that is, compared to the likes of "Ico" and "Shadow of the Colossus."

"The Last Guardian: An Extraordinary Story" is slated to launch on February 28, 2017, with a price in the United States of $39.99. It is comprised of 256 pages and is now available for pre-order at Amazon.
