"The Elder Scrolls 7" is an idea that many have come to love along the way, though it seems as if the wait may be quite a prolonged one to note. Such words came from none other than the people behind the predecessors themselves, Bethesda.

With the success of "Fallout 4" from 2015 up to this day, it is almost apparent that a continuity is bound to happen soon enough. However, continuous attempts by Bethesda's higher names may have thwarted all the hopes that fans have or perhaps once had.

Recent reports from GamesIndustry say that analyst Michael Pachter predicted the possible games to come out within 2017, including the coveted "The Elder Scrolls 6." To compare details, Pachter said that Valve's "Half-Life 3" will not emerge. The analyst bluntly disclosed that, in his perspective, Bethesda can be close to triumph, whereas Valve is not; regardless of the claims both companies may have. He also said that he wishes to be at least partially wrong in his predictions, hoping for the better news instead.

Reports also said that Bethesda's Pete Hines said the studio has more plans prior to anything in relation to "The Elder Scrolls 6." Hines was also quoted as saying that there will be two other projects on their priority list, which are yet to be named. This ultimately sets aside all the claims that the sixth game will potentially come out by 2017 -- but fans are still not letting go of the idea.

That being said, no word on the upcoming continuity or spin-off to "The Elder Scrolls" saga has been confirmed yet, let alone "The Elder Scrolls 6." For the time being, all surrounding news for the Bethesda franchise is to be taken with a grain of salt.
