As if four previous endorsements were not enough, "League of Angels II" reaped another accolade after being named as among 2016's Best Web Games by social media network Facebook.

Facebook is a gaming platform itself and this game is part of it. In fact, Facebook is arguably the largest gaming platform with 500 million players dispersed in thousands of web-based games. Further, Facebook is also presenting a fierce competition in games that it is hosting, including "League of Angels II."

The game managed to stay on top as recommended web game since launch in April 2016. Then it repeats the achievement after being named as featured game of the week in April, June, October and this month December. "League of Angels II" is also a mainstay in Facebook Games Center, Facebook homepage and desktop app Gameroom.

Zeroing in to Facebook Best Game of the Year and "League of Angels II" journey to reap the award; it was a breezy journey for the game. Facebook simply have to rely on user ratings plus evaluation on game capabilities and overall quality, BigPoint said. There were total of 24 games picked and only 8 of them are web-based, including "League of Angels II."

Meanwhile, the predecessor of the game also reaped similar accolade in 2014. MMOSite claimed that the original game has 200 million-strong global players, hailing from 150 countries covered by Facebook. Thanks to swerving from traditional turn-based gaming, it managed to sustain high player rate.

Here is a good news for players; a special Year-End event is rolling out soon. This annual tradition of campaigning before the closing of each calendar year culminates the year-long achievements. "League of Angels II" plans to make the event interactive where players can share their in-game experiences. This Year-End event is going to unleash for all versions of the game, including web and mobile.
