No one knows where are the three legendary birds of "Pokemon Go," Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos as well as Mew and Mewtwo. Players have been waiting for Niantic's announcement as to when they would show up in the game.

According to Tech Mic, once the players select a team, each team is obviously tied to a different legendary bird. However, no teams have been rewarded with any of these birds so far. Niantic will officially release its "Pokemon Go" New Year event on Dec. 30 and everyone is hoping to see at least one of the legendary birds preferably Articuno once the event begins.

Supposedly, Niantic's "Pokemon Go" New Year event is to increase starter Pokemon such as Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle's spawn rates as well as their evolution and also to double the time Lure Modules last but everyone knows how Niantic surprises players with fresh and unexpected features. So, players would love to see a frosty ice-type Pokemon Articuno during this event.

Furthermore, Game Informer reports that Niantic is offering a variety of "Pokemon Go" discounted bundles that are on sale at the moment. Between Dec. 26 and 30, players can get the Special Box that has x10 Great Balls, x2 Egg Incubators and 250 coins while the Great Box includes x20 Great Balls, x2 Incense, x4 Egg Incubators and 550 coins and the Ultra Box has x20 Ultra Balls, x25 Incense, x6 Egg Incubators and 1,500 coins.

Additionally, there will be Bronze, Silver and Gold holiday boxes that become available between Dec. 30 and Jan. 3, 2017, which include Lure Modules, Incense, Lucky Eggs, Poke Balls and Great Balls. Most players, however, said that Incense is of no use and although the Great Balls and Ultra Balls are helpful for players who are not located in densely populated urban or the suburban areas, it still doesn't give good reason for the price of entry.
