'Blockchain': The Possibility Of Creating The Worlds Biggest Super Computer
Jomst C.As typical as it is, our devices and gadgets stand idle for the most part of the day, the need for computing resources is rapidly growing. Big IoT systems, machine learning and deep complex algorithms are deployed in systems and domains which demand better cloud servers and better bandwidths to supply the specific needs of businesses and enterprises.
What is the most efficient way of utilising the potential computing power that is in idle mode? Blockchain is the possible solution. A distributed ledger that is currently gaining favour across several domains could be the solution in providing a system that enables participants to share and borrow resources on computing, and definitely, make money while at it.
The iEx.ec, a distributed cloud computing platform co-founder, Gilles Fedak stated that "There is a growing demand for computing power from industries and scientific communities to run large applications and process huge volumes of data."
Gilles Fedak also mentioned about a number of domains like product simulation, deep learning and 3D rendering, where the demand for computing resources and high-performance computing is highly needed and is growing rapidly.
The report of Ben Dickson of Techcrunch stated more about the various possibilities and potential of Blockchain network of resources deeply. The industry experts believe that Blockchain can make a big difference.
The system allows having a decentralised infrastructure that can bring information and data closer to the users, such as producers and consumers. Compared to a central cloud computing system, data centres are typically in hard to reach areas or very remote.
The need for upscale computation will rapidly develop and grow as the industry faces and goes forward. Even if the current use of cloud servers will be up to par to offer the need of resources, how much it actually cost and the speed of performance is for checking. As of the current time, Blockchain is an option that can open up and maximise possibilities and potential to succeed where other techs have failed.
