Ceage SottoDell launches a 2-in-1 variant for the XPS 13 laptop. The new hybrid variant for the Dell's XPS 13 was first spotted on the company's official website.
The product page, however, does not show the 2-in-1 laptop's specifications. It shows images of the laptop folding 360 degrees with a bezel-less Infinity Design from the original Dell XPS 13.
According to Gadgets360, Dell's 2-in-1 laptop is expected to feature a dual-core Kaby Lake processor. It can also possibly have similar memory and storage options as the current XPS 13 laptop.
Laptop users and enthusiast have agreed that the Dell XPS 13 and 15 are great buys. Experts have keyed in good points about the laptop's overall design and impressive performance.
Dell's XPS 13, 15 and Inspiron laptops have already been a go-to option for many business professionals and young adults. A new tilting version will obviously be another hit. The 2-in-1 laptop will be sold on the company's official website and Best Buy starting on Jan. 5 for a respectable $999.
The Verge review on the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 laptop reveals that it supports a USB-A adapter that is included in the packaging. The adapter can also be used on regular USB accessories.
A microSD slot has replaced the full SD card reader from the previous XPS 13. The webcam's position for Dell's 2-in-1 laptop hybrid is awkwardly located beneath the display. Both changes will possibly affect the laptop's overall design.
We will be expecting a capable laptop from the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. It would make a great option for those who like to switch on using tabs and laptops on the go. It's also Dell's introductory device for the growing market of hybrid devices.
You can check out more on The Verge's YouTube video below. It's possible that Dell's booth on the CES 2017 will feature the XPS 13 2-in-1 along with the company's other laptops.
