"Star Wars: Force Arena" will be hitting the market in 2017 as one of South Korea's Netmarble Games' newest releases. Pre-registration for the new mobile game has already been opened.

Netmarble Games, which is known for its "Marvel: Future Fight" game, will be releasing another role-playing game featuring the "Star Wars" characters. According to Star Wars Gaming, the game will be launched in 2017 to over 150 countries across the globe, including the US and Japan.

Details for the release of "Star Wars: Force Arena" have yet to be announced, but a trailer for the mobile game was given alongside the announcement. The said clip features Darth Vader acting as the main protagonist in the game.

The good thing about "Star Wars: Force Arena" is that players can now pre-register for the game. Aside from Darth Vader, players can choose their favorite character, from Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker, as the leader of the team.

The publication also notes that there are over 60 characters to choose from and "Star Wars: Force Arena" can be played in 1v1 or 2v2 tournaments. Cosmic Book News also reports that the new mobile game will not veer far from the events of the movies.

This may serve as a treat to devoted "Star Wars" fans who have always wished to play as their favorite characters from the movie. The game also allows users to build a deck of characters that can help the team succeed with their missions.

For example, players can go for the legendary team up of Han Solo and Chewbacca in "Star Wars: Force Arena." Some players, however, may find it interesting to see what will happen to a team if Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker will team up together.

Netmarble Games also stated that an eSports tournament may be conducted soon for "Star Wars: Force Arena." This, however, will depend on the success of the mobile game and its demand from players.
