Asus Brags Its Latest GT51CH Gaming Desktop Powered by Intel's Kaby Lake Processor With GTX 1080
Cores Grace MalaayAsus kicks off its latest product lineup update at CES 2017 including its high-end GT51CH gaming desktop. It sports top-of-the-line graphics cards and Intel's latest 7th-generation Kaby Lake processor.
According to Digital Trends, the GT51CH gaming desktop is a monster system sporting up to two GTX 1080 graphics cards in an SLI configuration along with the new core i7 Kaby Lake CPU, a max of 64 GB of DDR4, 2,800 MHz memory and terabytes of HDD storage including solid state drivers teamed up with a pair of RAID-0 M.2 SSDs. The desktop is a powerhouse of systems and the core i7-7700K sits in.
Additionally, Asus is also trying to make the GT51CH gaming desktop system easier to overclock where Aegis III application is being used and that anyone can overclock the CPU up to 4.8GHz as well as one of the GTX 1080s. Intel's XMP tech also allows the memory to overclock by 17 percent.
If you want to check more out with the overclocking, play with timings or tweak for a couple more points of frequencies in a 3Dmark run, the included Aegis application also provides many numbers. It includes fan speed controls, temperatures, built-in warning system and voltage thresholds, according to Hot Hardware.
The entire system also comes with ESS Sabre HiFi DAC as well as amplifiers that support up to 32bit/384kHz. The chassis for the GT51CH gaming desktop also looks great with a bullet gray finish, a unique accent and lighting variety that can be managed in the Aegis system as well.
The Asus Aura system has selections of millions of color hues and has auto-adjust in case you want to reflect it with the game you're playing. Asus hasn't provided details of the pricing yet but the GT51CH system but everyone can see it for themselves at CES 2017 and the consumer availability is expected to shed some light in the Q2 of this year.
