Moto X 2017 Release Date, Specs and Features: 2017 Release Eyed for New Motorola Offering; Mid-Range Phone Expected
Nens MitchellA new Moto X device is said to be releasing this year if leaks online will be trusted. Motorola fans are excited to know what the upcoming handset will offer to the public.
Moto X 2017 features and specs
Recent reports indicated that the next Moto X handset could be called the Moto X 2017 and will sport a thicker body. It is also expected to have a 5.2-inch screen. As for its ports, the device will stick to the microUSB port as well as the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Moto X 2017 is also thought to have a fingerprint scanner for better phone security. This button is believed to look a lot like that of the Moto G4 Plus.
Camera improvements
As for the camera, the Moto X 2017 could sport a 13MP primary camera. Many are also hoping that the secondary camera on the front will have a flash for better low-light selfies.
The leaks also show that fans should not expect a dual-camera technology at the back of the phone and also stereo speakers. It may just provide improvements on the existing features and specs of the earlier released Motorola handsets.
New design
A closer look at the device will reveal that it has a decent design and makeup though bezels still take up most of the front part of the phone. This also reportedly indicates that it is a mid-range offering from Motorola.
Being a mid-range phone, fans can expect that it will be an affordable Motorola offering without so much glaring changes not only in terms of design but also under the hood. Since it may also do away with the Moto Mods design, Motorola users may choose a higher phone model.
Moto Mods allow users to customize their phones depending on their needs. They can attach to a phone a high-end camera lens for clearer photos or even a boom speaker for louder music.
