Fans of Madam Secretary Season 3 are so much excited. Well, the biggest question for episode 10 would be if Russell Jackson (Zeljko Ivanek)was able to see the victory of Dalton (Keith Carradine) in the presidential elections. Mobile & Apps got a recap on Madam Secretary Season 3 Episode 10.

According to Chatt Sports, Madam Secretary Season 3 episode 10 was titled as "The Race". This episode  highlighted the unexpected heart attack of Russell Jackson in the said presidential race. Furthermore, it was also emphasised that the Chief-of-Staff's health condition deteriorated due to the pressure which election campaign has brought him. 

Meanwhile, according to TV Line, the executive producer of Madam Secretary, Barbara Hall, mentioned in an interview that they have picked out several international issues. They think that these issues are not easy to resolve soon. Even a lifetime may not really solve those issues that they have chosen.

"..Then in our fictional world, we gave ourselves some success with two things," Hall said to TVLine. 

Also, Hall pointed out that the show chose the two hallmarks of Dalton's administration- "the nuclear peace agreement and detenté with Russia" and made them begin to fall to pieces on election night.

"We wanted to take something that was a huge part of his legacy and see what it looked like if it began to unravel," the executive producer added. 

As it will be seen, the unravelling of that legacy has taken place between the two ever warring nations. This includes Elizabeth and POTUS who had several chances to save the humanity from the nuclear war. On the other hand, for the sake of the national stability, the vote from the House of Representatives was moved up. This was done to determine who would take charge of the White House.

Also, although Dalton, had the chance to ruin the reputation of Evans, he did not use it to win the elections. Evans was reported to have potential genes in having an early-onset of Alzheimer's Disease.
