'Tales of Berseria: Collector’s Edition' Pre-Order Available Again, Release Date, Bundle Content, Game Details & More

"Tales of Berseria" was released in Japan in the early part of 2016. In a press release, Bandai Namco announced that the next entry in its JRPG series is coming on January 24. "Tales of Berseria: Collector's Edition" comes with "Tales of Berseria" game, limited edition set of Chibi Kyun Chara figures and individually numbered Collector's Edition packaging.
Moreover, the "Tales of Berseria: Collector's Edition" contains the hardcover prequel novel "A Witch's Tale: A World Full of Demons," special selection music CD, starter strategy guide art book, 8-bit retro keychain set, a steelbook case and a special trading card set. The pre-order is only limited to 10,000 units. You may pre-order through Amazon and avail of the 20 percent discount if you are a Prime member.
"Tales of Berseria," is the first "Tales of" game to have a female character as its single main protagonist. Players will come across numerous characters and join them on stimulating quests discovering the world. The game will be available with English, Russian, French, Italian and Spanish subtitles, according to Game Idealist.
In "Tales of Berseria," players embark on a journey as they undertake the role of Velvet, a young woman whose once kind nature was overcome with a decaying anger and hatred brought by a traumatic experience. In the "Tales of Berseria," Velvet will meet many characters, including a young boy named Laphicet. If Velvet is the personification of darkness, then Laphicet is created in the image of light and will be a vital ally to Velvet.
Veteran "Tales of Berseria" character designers like Minoru Iwamoto, Mutsumi Inomata, Kosuke Fujishima, and Daigo Okumura helped create the game's many characters. Ufotable, a renowned Japanese animation studio, animated the game's breathtaking cut-scenes, bringing truly epic and sensitive storytelling. Hervé Hoerdt, vice-president of marketing and digital at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe notes that the "Tales of Berseria" franchise's history of notable characters, engaging battle systems and personal stories will linger to pleasure fans on PlayStation4 and PC Digital.
