Devices That Will Soon Be Compatible With Google Home, Announced At The CES 2017
Cris Xander JulianoThe Amazon Echo was released two years earlier than the Google Home, therefore it's not surprising that the former has a lot more devices that are compatible with its system. Google Home, on the other hand, is just trying to catch up with its rival. These are the compatible devices that Google Home has announced so far at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 as reported by cnet.
It is an app-enabled light switch for your home and relatively affordable. This is a brand new version that added the feature that enables it to dim the lights. The dimming capabilities can very across different kinds of bulbs. Although, the device lets you calibrate the dimmable range for specific bulbs that you are using. It works with LEDs, CFLs among others.
That's right, soon you will have the ability to tell Google to start your Hyundai. You can also ask Google to send directions to your car's navigation system. It does have a security feature wherein Google asks for a PIN before it follows commands, particularly the engine start.
It is a device that purifies the air. With its smartphone app, it allows you to remotely control and monitor the device from your mobile device. With Google home, all the commands will be voice-activated. For example, "Ok Google, turn the air purifier on."
It is a smart light that can be easily retrofitted on top of your conventional light switch that adds automation. With Google Home, you can now command your light bulbs using only your voice. It also has a motion detector that enables it to switch on or off when it senses a person walking into the room.
