'Final Fantasy XV' Guide To The Moogle Chocobo Carnival Event

'Final Fantasy XV' Guide To The Moogle Chocobo Carnival Event

Nicole T.

The recent holidays were merrier for "Final Fantasy XV" players. A free Holiday DLC Pack was available from Square Enix during the season. One of the contents of the pack was a ticket to a January event: the Moogle Chocobo Carnival. What is this event and what can players expect?

Square Enix hasn't announced the exact date of the event yet. However, it was previously reported that it will be a mid-January affair.

The Moogle Chocobo "Final Fantasy XV" event is said to be an unusual event. For one, it will only be accessed for a limited time according to the official blog of Square Enix. This is unusual for online non-multiplayer games such as "Final Fantasy XV" since they can't experience the event with other players.

In addition, those who haven't played since the last update of the game may not experience this again. The Holiday DLC Pack contained the ticket. Without the ticket, a player could not enter the event and access everything that it contains.

Speaking of content, players should also try to get everything there is to acquire during the event. Since the Moogle Chocobo event may not happen again, the items and content within it won't likely be found in the main game.

Given its name, it is also speculated that Moogles and Chocobos of the "Final Fantasy" world will play a great part of the event. The event is also said to likely take place on a body of water with surrounding buildings. The said buildings apparently have the same style as with the Altissia buildings. Reports also say that players may have to unlock Altissia before the player can enter the event.

TechnoBuffalo revealed a New Year message from director Hajime Tabata. The message said that 2017 will be a year of giving back to fans. Apart from the event, there may be more coming soon for "Final Fantasy XV."
