The Best Apple Related Accessories And Airpods Alternatives Launched At CES 2017
JulianneApple is preparing for their most daring iPhone 8 announcement in September at the moment and decided not to partake the annual Consumer Electronics Show 2017 at Las Vegas, Nevada.
However, there were still a couple of Apple-related accessories from third-party vendors present at the event. In a quick report by MacRumors, here are the top picks presented at the CES 2017 that are novel, fun and new to the eyes of the consumers.
First is the Incipio that showed off a new iPhone 7 case that brings back the headphone jack of the Apple device. The Incipio case has a large chin at the bottom to accommodate both the headphone jack and the Lighting charging port.
Griffin was present at the event and displayed its BreakSafe cables for both Macbook and Macbook Pro that are designed to replace MagSafe connector. The cables include a new 100W model for the latest Macbook Pro, which offers the same breakaway functionality over USB Type-C.
Meanwhile, Henge Docks debuted a number of products at the CES 2017 for the new Macbook Pro. The comeback of the Vertical Dock allows users to dock the laptop off the side of the monitor while the new Horizontal Dock allows users to securely dock the Apple laptop without compromising usability.
The Horizontal Dock by the San Francisco-based company features pressure sensors to let the user know that the laptop is present and then automatically connects itself with the computer. The dock has 13 ports available to use such as HDMI, USB Type-A, and Ethernet.
Other than that, NanoLeaf displayed its colorful Aurora lights that can be displayed on a wall with its individual light controlled by the Aurora app. NanoLeaf also demoed the new Aurora Rhythm that allows the lights to react to music and sound.
Meanwhile, 9to5Mac reports notable alternatives for Apple Airpods and can go toe to toe with the said earpiece. Nuheara is showing off its IQ buds and Earin's earpiece that a 3-hour airtime might not be applicable to some.
