Samsung Galaxy Tab S3: MWC 2017 Debut Likely; Release Sooner Than Expected As New Tablet Receives Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Certification
Vinay PatelIt Looks like Samsung is set to take the smartphone arena by storm rolling out a slew of devices including the Android-powered tablet, Galaxy Tab S3, Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8 and the foldable Galaxy X.
Reports about Samsung's plan to launch the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 flagship smartphones in 2017 have been running rampant online. But details about the LTE Galaxy Tab S3, bearing model number SM-T825 are few and far between.
However, various sources have been recently hinting at an imminent release date for the tablet. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if Samsung chooses to wait until February to unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017, or it opts to announce it in the next few weeks.
The Galaxy Tab S3 was recently spotted on Bluetooth, where it received its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certification. Some optimistic Galaxy lovers took this as an indication that the device might be a step away from the official release.
Aside from that, Samsung did not mention a new tablet at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2017 this week. This scenario further stirred conversations among tech pundits who hazard a guess that the device will be announced at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona next month.
If this proves to be true, it would coincide with a previous report from SamMobile. It indicated that Samsung Tab S3 will be released in Q1 2017.
The upcoming Galaxy Tab S3 is likely to feature similar specs found in its precursor, the Tab S2. It is expected to come with a beefed up processor bearing undisclosed innovations.
Although Samsung has kept details about its upcoming tablet under wraps at this time, more information surrounding the device's specs and features are likely to surface online just ahead of its release date.
